Our Leagues

Our programming is focused on having various leagues that fit all different types of players. We are excited to announce our perspective leagues for this upcoming 2026 season. We are excited to grow the sport of roller hockey in the greater Madison area, and are hoping to add more leagues and youth programming in the future. This year in 2026, we will be offering 2 sessions. We will have a 10 week session that goes from May - end of July. We will start the Drafty sometime in mid summer. Please keep an eye out for more details. 

A League

Designed for high-end players. This league will feature pro ice and roller players. The level of play is intended for players who have played at least a high level of high school hockey or more. Games for this league in 2026 will be on Monday evenings.

B League

Designed for both high end and moderately skilled players. This league puts an emphasis on fun and learning the game. This level of league allows it's top end players 2 goals per game, and encourages the high end players to involve their teammates more. Games for this league in 2026 will be on Wednesday nights!

The Drafty

A draft style league that runs late summer, designed for all skills. Everyone who signs up will be drafted to a team. In addition to playing, each player receives a unique designed team jersey. The 2026 season will begin mid summer and go to late summer / early fall. More info and formal dates to come soon.

Beginner League & Skates

Throughout the summer we will offer skates designed specifically for beginners to come out an skate. If we have enough interest, MRH will put together a league. If you're interested, please let us know below.

Drop In Hockey

We will have drop in hockey throughout the summer. 

Tournaments

Throughout the summer there will be several tournaments both hosted by Madison Rec Hockey, and by other tournament companies in various locations. In addition to playing in tournaments hosted by Madison Rec Hockey, our players will be also encouraged to play in NARcH and State Wars.
